Job Description
|
Responsibilities:
• Scope, design and develop UI pages and components that will improve the user experience.
• Write object oriented and cross browser JavaScript components using the latest AJAX technologies.
• Create reports and metrics using Java technologies.
• Collaborate with other senior engineers to provide management with project estimates.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years in Java software engineering with an emphasis on the web tier.
• Minimum 4+ years writing object oriented JavaScript libraries.
• Must have experience with MVC frameworks such as Struts.
• Must have experience creating custom JSP tag libraries.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Jasper Reports required.
• Experience generating graphical metrics using charting packages needed.
• Strong knowledge of JSP.
• Expert knowledge of DOM scripting and DHTML.
• Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as Prototype a very strong plus.
• Knowledge of JSON required.
• CSS skills required.
• Strong knowledge of internet/web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XHTML, XML)
• Ability to turn static HTML wire frames into working pages.
• Expertise with object-oriented design and implementation in Java required.
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments a strong plus.
• Familiarity working with Service Oriented Architectures a plus.
• Good overall understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies.
• Attention to every detail and exceptional problem solving expertise.
