Job Description
|
Senior UI devloper with excellent skills in XML, XSLT, struts, XPATH and AJAX.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, with 3 to 5 years in XML, XSL, XSLT, XPATH and AJAX.
Excellent communication and development skills.
Bachelers Degree in CS or equivalent required.
Candidates local to NY/NJ preferred.
Required skills: Demonstrable experience with 3 or more of the following opensource and commercial javascript frameworks and utilities:
Prototype
Scriptaculous
Dojo
Yahoo! UI Utilities
ext
OpenRico
jQuery
CSSQuery
Other DOM Query APIs
Backbase
Demonstrable expertise with the following:
X-Browser XSLT and XMLDOM
Client-Side Patterns
Observer
MVC
Strong Familiarity with the following Ajax topics:
1. Back button, history, and bookmarks
2. Beyond widgets: standard and custom behaviors
3. Single-page interface
4. Productivity and maintainability
5. Client-server
6. XPath targeting
7. Comprehensive event model
8. State and the observer pattern
9. Strong Java background
Experience with the following a plus -
Model Driven Architectures (MDA)
Hibernate
JiBX
EMF
Other XML Mapping techniques
